The Organization and Presentation of the Flat Language in Contemporary Youth Themed Figurative Painting

Abstract：

The present study investigates contemporary youth-themed figurative painting through a detailed examination of the driving forces that have led to the formation of its two-dimensional language and its core artistic characteristics; it analyzes the linguistic organization logic in form, color, composition and texture, while clarifying the various modes of expression inherent in this two-dimensional language under four perspectives: visual, narrative, emotional and contemporary, thus revealing the intrinsic relationship between this language and the expression of the youth spirit and the transmission of the contemporary zeitgeist. This research aims at enriching the theory of studying the language of contemporary figurative painting with theoretical insight and practical guidance towards innovative artistic creation based on youth-themed subjects.
